CHRISTMAS LIMAS 20 OZ

The recipe on the back of this bag of beans is worth the purchase. They really do have a chestnut like taste. Christmas Limas may have had their origins in Jamaica, but were grown extensively in the Southwest and were very popular in the mid 19th century. Their interior becomes very creamy in slow cooking. We recommend using porcelain or terra cotta for cooking the recipe on the back. 1.5lb bag grown in Idaho from heritage seed stock.
