This is the Taylor version of the classic meat thermometer that you stick into the roast and leave in the oven. This is a non mercury based thermometer with a guide for doneness for meats which are food police approved. It has two levels for yeast testing: one for non dissolving yeast or rapid rise method and the other for dissolving or conventional method.
