These great guys are responsible for dragging us into the 21st Century, and they’ve done it with a vengeance. They held our hands and maintained a great sense of humor, and they can do the same for you. They continue to offer us new ideas for web growth and development, and most importantly, they don’t laugh at us! |

| Appliance Fix-It
This company can sharpen scissors (which we are unable to do) and can repair just about any appliance you can name. So before you throw it out, take your wounded appliance to this company. |

Metro Plating & Polishing Company
We have tested this new plating company for retinning our copper pans, and their plating is very heavy duty, their service prompt, and you will think your pans are new! While not inexpensive, their retinning will last much longer than other methods we have tried. You can ship your pans to them if Kensington is not on your GPS. |

| Today’s Cargo
This unpretentious store is comfy, friendly, and has anything jewelry related that you could possibly want. (If you don’t find what you want at first glance, just ask Donna or Carla to check in one of their magic shelves for you and they will find it.) We shop there for each other and ourselves, and they have earned the distinct honor of being the only shop that Nancy trusts to repair her cheesy (but wonderful!)earrings.

| Oyamel
When our dear friend Joe Raffa left The Majestic Cafe to become the executive chef at Oyamel, we knew good things were to follow. I don’t think any of us were prepared for the explosion of flavors that Joe went on to create in his new venue. We, of course, went on a Cuisinette field trip to check it out, and were unanimously blown out of the water. Go hungry and plan to sample as many of the small plates and imaginative drinks as you can. |

Krema Nut Company
This charming little company has been in business for over one hundred years, and Stephanie has been shopping there for over forty of them. Krema roasts only the finest nuts in very small batches, and they are the prime choice for the cashews served by the resident wine maniac with our Champagne toasts. They are located in Columbus, Ohio, and Stephanie always brings back these fine treats when she visits there. Now, however, they have a very easy-to-navigate website, so we can order them whenever we want. |

| The Cosmopolitan Hotel - Tribeca
We have stayed at this hotel so many times, we should have a plaque in the lobby. Inexpensive, great location in the city, super parking break in a nearby garage. Check out where we like to eat in the neighborhood in one of our blogs. |

| Bubby’s Pie Company
This seems to have become a breakfast favorite of the Cuisinettes when we visit New York. The Tribeca Bubby’s is a mere four-block walk from the Cosmopolitan Hotel, and slings an awesome breakfast. Once we were even lucky enough to finish breakfast just as the daily pies were coming out of the oven. We purchased one to bring home as a souvenier, and it certainly lived up to it’s reputation. |

| Mocca Lounge
If you’re looking for a great place to catch a quick drink, espresso, or snack while in Tribeca, this is the place to go. After a long day at the Food Show, we wanted a place to unwind and go over our notes together. While the Cosmopolitan Hotel does not have a bar, and thus does not SERVE Cosmopolitans, the concierge there was able to direct us to Mocca Lounge (a mere two blocks away) which does. The decor is hip, the music just right, and it was exactly what we were looking for. Add to that half price happy hour drinks served by a pleasant waitstaff, and we were happy campers, indeed. |
